Today's trip to the fire station was a blast! Thanks again to Amanda for hosting this one. We got to learn about the life of a fire fighter, see someone dressed in full gear, play in the fire engine (although I think the garage door opener was by far the best part of the trip for some;), and get lots of free cool stuff to take home.
Remember to check the calendars for the upcoming events! Next week we are going to hike to Cecret Lake. What are your thoughts on what time we should meet up?

Does anyone know if we cross water on this hike? Just wondering if sandals would be appropriate.

ReplyDeleteI'm so ticked we missed that! Sorry we have been totally MIA lately. My sister has been in town from Texas for the last month and 1/2 and I've been hanging out with her most days, and on days I wasn't, trying to catch up on my housework! I think we will probably skip out on the hike-I don't think I can hike it carrying both boys. Hopefully we can be there the next week!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your questions: The hike has bridges over the main streams but there may be some run off. It might be a good idea to wear sandals if you are going to let them play in the water. The hike is about an hour long. The beginning is relatively flat and the end inclines to the lake -so you can turn around any time:) Amanda said the wild flowers are out so bring your cameras! See you at the church around 9:30am.
